Three Months Strategy to score full marks in CBSE Board Exam for Class 10 & 12!!!

Hello students…. Hope you all are doing well. How is your studies going on??? Today I have come with a great article for you all my dear students. This will benefit both the category of students, firstly, those who have completed their syllabus and going to start revision and secondly, those who haven’t started their studies till now.

Today I am gonna tell you the best stategies to cover the cbse class 10 & 12 syllabus in three months, in such an effective way, so that you can easily score excellent marks in your board exams.

When we think about scoring high marks in CBSE board class 10 & 12, we have to make sure that we make a realistic plan, strategy and time-table, so that scoring marks in board exam will be very easy.

First of all, remember one thing, for scoring good marks in every subject, there is a common strategy, which you should apply for every subject.

Step 1: At first, go through the latest syllabus, published by CBSE. As CBSE, every year provide the revised syllabus alongwith the deleted portion. Many number of students never check that. As I say to my every student, before starting your study, go through the latest syllabus. Mark the portions which has been deleted by the CBSE. This year, CBSE has reduced quite large portion from your entire syllabus. And if, they have reduced or deleted some portion. That particular portion will not be asked by the CBSE in your Board exams.

Step 2: After checking the revised syllabus, the very next step is to check the weightage for Section/Unit/Chapter provided by the CBSE. CBSE every year provides the weightage of different subjects Section, Unit or Chapter wise. The very simple thing here to know is that, if CBSE has alloted some marks to particular chapter or Unit, it will ask the questions from that chapter or Unit accordingly.

Step 3: Completing step 1 and step 2, the next step is analysing the pattern of the examination. This step is very important. And if you devote some time to analyse the pattern of examination, you will come to know that, on completion of first three steps, you have a clearcut idea of what the CBSE is going to ask. Here, I would like to add one thing, SYLLABUS, WEIGHTAGE & PATTERN of any examination, makes your journey, of scoring high, very easy. As, on examination day, you have to give the answers of the questions asked in given pattern, under provided weightage and within latest syllabus. Thus, these three steps completes your almost 40% of journey.

Step 4: Next thing which is very important for scoring full marks, is HOW YOU WRITE YOUR ANSWERS OR HOW YOU PRESENT YOUR ANSWERSHEET TO THE TEACHER. When your board answersheets are checked, the teacher who will check your copy, doesn’t know anything about you. Hence, he/she assumes your nature or character by your answersheet. So, it becomes the most important step, for achieving higher grades in board exam.

How your are going to present your answersheet, requires tremendous practice of writing the answers. If you know any topic very well, but could not present it in a good format, you have chances of cutting the numbers. So whenever you learn some topic, practise it by writing as you are going to write in your board exams.

Here I would like to add one important point, that is, first check the pattern of answersheet which will be provided to you on your board exam day. There is a difference while writing the answer in potrait form of paper and landscape form of paper. If your board answersheet is of landscape format, then practice writing the answers in landscape paper.

Step 5: Now, when you are all set with syllabus, weightage, pattern and presentation of answer, start your study. But again, before opening your book, collect previous years papers (atleast 10 years). This is very important, as these papers will tell you, what type of question will be asked from any particular chapter of section. And you can prepare your answer accordingly. While, going through the PYQP, you will notice that some particular questions of some chapters are frequently asked by the CBSE Board. Check those topics in the first phase.

Step 6: Make a factual plan, mention the chapters which you can easily cover, the chapters which are going to consume more time and the chapters which you have to start from the begining. When you set with all these steps. Now you can start your study.

Step 7: When you start your study, note the important topics of the chapter you have started. In every chapter, there are some topics which high chances to come in your board exam. And PYQP will help you to find those HOT topics. Don’t run to cover your entire syllabus, rather than, try to cover Units/Chapters accordingly to the weightage. Suppose, Semiconductor chapter has the weightage of 7 marks, this means, CBSE is going to ask 7 marks questions from this chapter. So, if you have started this chapter, complete it in a manner that you score 7 out of 7 from this chapter. Rushing to cover entire syllabus and strategically completing the units weightage wise, both are different and the later one gives you a high chance of scoring good marks.

Step 8: This step is just a twist, as in this step, you are going to practice some very important exercise. And that exercise is selection of pens. Yes you read it write. Pens are very important tool, as in exam day, the pen is your only weapon, so choose it wisely. You have to practice with the same pen, which you will use in the exam day. Pen plays a major role, as different pens have different grip. So start practising from the same pen, with which you are going to write your answers in examination.

Step 9: Most crucial step and pillar for every success, “Time Management”. Seems very unusual, but its true, you need to practise time management to score good marks in your examination. For example: As per new pattern, your physics class 12 question paper consists of 2 parts, Part A (MCQs, Assertion-reasoning & Case based questions) and Part B (2 marks, 3 marks and 5 marks questions). Part A will have 16 questions and Part B will carry 17 questions. Part A will give you 22 marks and Part B will give 48 marks. So, it is very clear that, Part B has more weightage, but Part A will consume less time to complete.

When you practice sample paper, calculate the time you are devoting to each part and each section. This will give you a clear idea, how you are going to write your answers on your exam day.

I hope this piece of information will help you a lot.
